Many of our colleagues joined ibak Hamburg because they want to contribute to a more sustainable real estate industry and a future worth inheriting. For us, sustainability is not just a marketing buzzword; it is the core of our business model and our way of thinking.

Most of our colleagues have been with us for many years, while others have joined more recently. We asked them: Why do you enjoy working at ibak Hamburg? What keeps you motivated?
I am motivated by the variety of my tasks. No two projects are the same, and our industry is constantly evolving. The diverse challenges, the close collaboration with our clients, and the opportunity to continuously dive into new topics and keep learning are what make my work so engaging. I am especially pleased when initial projects develop into long-term partnerships. I also value the opportunity to actively help shape our company's development and grow together with our team.
I haven't been part of the team for long, but I felt welcome from day one. As a numbers person with a knack for organization, I enjoy actively shaping my area and taking on responsibility. What I particularly like is that we support each other here at ibak Hamburg and that new ideas are always encouraged.
After seven years, friends sometimes ask me why I’m still here. The answer is quite simple: because things never stand still. I’ve witnessed how ibak Hamburg has changed and evolved in terms of expertise, structure, and digital transformation—it’s incredibly exciting. At the same time, balancing family and career is a lived reality here. As a father, I know that, unfortunately, this is not something you can take for granted.
Honestly, it is the mix of professional and personal aspects. I have grown a lot in my career and am constantly learning new things, whether in day-to-day business or through further training. Since I work with people from different countries and backgrounds, it also helps me with my personal development. And because my dog, Indie, comes to work with me and has become part of our team, it just doesn't feel like just any job.
