Performance measurements
We measure and analyze air, water, light, acoustics, and thermal comfort in accordance with current standards and the requirements of the DGNB and LEED certification systems. Our focus is on WELL Performance Verification. As an accredited Performance Testing Provider, we conduct these tests using our own WELL Performance Testing Agents.

Measurements at a glance

Measured values instead of assumptions
Planning and documentation show what is intended. Performance testing verifies on-site whether requirements are actually met. We coordinate the assessments and provide verifiable results regarding air, water, light, acoustics, and thermal comfort.
When you need measurements
For DGNB, LEED, or WELL certification
Before use or handover
Even without certification

Measurements require a fixed time window
Sound insulation measurements must be carried out outside of working hours, thermal assessments during peak times such as summer or winter, and indoor air quality measurements within specific deadlines after completion. Plan these times in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is WELL Performance Testing itself a certification?
WELL Performance Testing, conducted by WELL Performance Providers, primarily serves as documentation and technical measurement to complement the design-related evidence required for WELL certification.
Can WELL testing be commissioned independently of WELL AP services?
Yes, we are happy to support your WELL Accredited Professionals (auditors) to ensure the process is completed successfully.
What is special about DGNB indoor air quality measurements?
Measurements must be taken in representative rooms within 4 weeks of the room surfaces being completed. These measurements are a minimum requirement of the process to verify the correct implementation of material ecology specifications.
Are additional proofs required for certification alongside the measurements?
Yes. Each of the systems requires detailed documentation comparing it against system-specific benchmarks or limit values.
What is the biggest hurdle?
Scheduling coordination. Sound insulation measurements are performed using loudspeakers, which requires them to be carried out outside of operating hours. Artificial light measurements require the exclusion of daylight from the areas, while background noise measurements require ventilation systems to be in normal operation, and so on.
Is it possible to use measurements for multiple certifications?
Yes. The devices we select come with the necessary calibration certificates, tolerances, and measurement ranges. Our agreements with the laboratories cover a wide range of substances, allowing indoor air measurements to be used for certifications such as DGNB and WELL.
