Smart Readiness Scan
Evaluate and visualize digital building quality
The Smart Readiness Scan evaluates connectivity, provider suitability, 4G/5G coverage, mobile signal boosting, WiFi standards, smart building readiness, and infrastructure resilience, based on the SRI (Smart Readiness Indicator) as defined by the EPBD.

WiredScore and SmartScore as optional certification
Building quality can be further highlighted through certification: WiredScore and SmartScore are international certification systems for assessing digital building quality. WiredScore evaluates a building's digital infrastructure, while SmartScore focuses on the use of digital technologies for operations, comfort, and the user experience.
These certifications help owners, project developers, and asset managers transparently demonstrate digital quality and systematically develop further potential.

Classification
Digital infrastructure is becoming a driver of rental income and property value. Cloud applications, AI-supported processes, and increasing data volumes require high-performance connectivity. This is a decisive quality factor, especially in densely built-up areas and buildings with limited mobile coverage.
Users expect stable connectivity and digital services. Owners and investors require reliable proof of future-proofing and competitiveness.
The Smart Readiness Scan creates the foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Smart Readiness Scan linked to a certification?
The scan is an independent analysis that serves as the foundation for the technical equipment or optimization of buildings. If required, we provide tender documents and coordinate the process. Optionally, the scan can be used as a basis for WiredScore or SmartScore certification.
What is the primary driver behind these necessary measures?
By 2028 (at the latest 2030), the 2G network will be shut down, following the already decommissioned 3G network.
This affects the functionality of emergency calls, fire alarm systems, and burglar alarm systems, among others. Upgrading is therefore essential to maintain the operational capability of safety-critical systems.
Which uses are particularly affected?
Primarily non-residential buildings (production, logistics, office, and retail spaces) with complex technical infrastructure and high user requirements for indoor performance regarding connectivity and control.
What is the difference between WiredScore and SmartScore?
WiredScore assesses a building's digital infrastructure. SmartScore evaluates the use of digital technology to enhance building operations and the user experience.
Can both certifications be obtained together?
Yes. The systems complement each other and are frequently used together.
